Family

This is my family. I have 6 brothers, 1 older and 5 younger. We live on a ranch in the far North-West corner of Kansas. We own and raise small-frame Angus cattle, registered Border Collie puppies, and registered horses. My Dad and brother have recently started a swathing and baling business(since it is so dry!).

This is my mom and dad, Ryan and Diane Shay.
Their birthdays are Oct.18th and Sept. 15th.
I'm not going to mention what year, because you would just say they don't look that old at all!

This is my older brother Riley Wayne Shay. He will be 16 on Sept. 16th. He  is an incredibly hard worker(except around the house!)and already has his own pickup(which comes in handy ALOT! ;D). His pets are a dog named Kit-Kat, 4 bottle calves and a 4-wheeler( he HATES horses! I know, he is CRAZY!!). He enjoys working cows, swathing and baling, and hunting. He really enjoys teasing me and mom, and annoying us all! HAHA He's always ready to have fun!(Except when he leaves at 3AM to go bale!)

This is me, Kaileyanne Shay. I'll turn 15 on May 15th. I love photography, gardening and just being outside! My pets are 21 ducks, 2 angora rabbits, and my very own colt! I enjoy the wonderful word that God has made! I wish for a bigger house where I could have my own room, instead of this 3-bedroom house that I share a room with four boys in. My favorite book is Lord of the Rings 1. My favorite movie is Prates of the Caribbean 4.

This is Reid Westly Shay. He will be 13 on June 7th. He is the master of jokes and riddles, and always making people laugh! His pets include a hamster, a coy(fish), and he uses Ryder as a pet! :) He enjoys baking things like cookies and cheese-cake. I always say if you want to laugh ask him for a joke(usually....)!His favorite book is Lord of the rings 3. His favorite movie is Facing the Giants.

This is Rayden Wyatt Shay. He will be 11 on July 27th. His life is made of fun! He is normally making fun of one movie or another. He can be a little silly, but makes up for it with his sweet little chatter. He keeps two parakeets for pets, but has to feed all the dogs and take care of the eight bottle calves(Riley is paying him for taking care of his.) His favorite book is DragonFire. His favorite movie is Eragon.

This is Rhett Walker Shay. He will turn 8 on July 4th. He is a huge fan of star wars and gets up at 6AM on Saturday to play on the computers.(That is the only day of the week we get to do it...) He has to gather eggs every day, and usually drops one or two. His favorite book is Cat in the Hat's huge green book. His favorite movie is American Legends.

This is Ronan Wade Shay. He will turn 6 on Aug. 4th. He is extremely naughty and silly and cute all at the same time. I sometimes want to lock him in the closet he gets so wild!(But if you do that you'll get grounded....)  He shares a dog and a rabbit with Dad and I. He has to help Rhett check the eggs and keep the chickens in their pen. His favorite book is Wacky Wednesday. His favorite movie is Donald duck.

This is Ryder Walon Shay. He will be 3 on Oct. 16th. He is just beginning to talk and says the funnest things! He is usually  being annoyed by Ronan. He has stuffed animals that he carries around and pretends their his babies. He is the sweetest, cuddliest little thing! I think his favorite book is How Goes the Work?. And his favorite movie would be Winnie the Pooh.

And just to let you know, Mom's expecting a little GIRL in January!! =)
